About Lisa Warner

Top five strengths: Inclusion, Communication, Empathy, Leader, Approachable. A recent graduate from Columbia University’s School of Social Work with a Master’s degree in Social Work. My extensive first hand training and experience in diversity peer education, crisis prevention peer hotlines, and working with non-profit organizations have collectively contributed to my ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people. Through interning at UAlbany's Gender and Sexuality Resource Center and Hillel, participating on the 33rd Annual Sexuality Month Planning Committee, and being selected as the Diversity and Equity Chair for my university's Peer Assistance Program, I have gained the confidence, leadership, and professional skills necessary to work as an integral part of a team and fight for social justice.
