I feel that in any industry customer service and satisfaction will either make or break you. I've been in the service industry for the past 20 years. You've got to connect with your clients and be genuine with your care for them. From cashiering to cooking and serving to supervisory roles, I strive to be the best at what I do. I want people to see interest and enthusiasm in every task I take on. I believe a good leader knows when to get their hands dirty and when to delegate. A good leader creates more good leaders and I've been fortunate to be led by some of the best. Fairly new to being a small business owner, I hope to one day hear a new leader say the same about me. I gave up the hospitality industry to venture out with my late fiance and begin our own handyman service. Lucky me, not only was he a master carpenter and a literal Jack of all trades, but he was an amazing instructor as well. Now, I'm not only able to bid the job and complete paperwork, but I can hang drywall and tape & float with the best of them. I have a new found passion for construction and respect for the workers that I am hopeful to pass on as my late fiance did for me.
