I work with your child individually, but help him or her learn how to share important information with you to improve your relationship. I specialize in working with children and youth who are anxious or depressed, and help them learn how to feel better both at home and at school. Other areas of expertise include bariatric surgery, trauma, gay and lesbian issues, and chronic/terminal illness. I also work with adults facing times of transition, whether it be from divorce, death, caring for elderly family member or loss of a job. Often old pattens of coping no longer work to keep us healthy and happy. I can help you refocus on what's most important in your life.
