About Lisandro Chamizo
I am currently the Assistant Athletic Director at Mater Brickell Academy. I help the Atheltic Director oversee all the sports offered at the school, help supervise all sporting events, help create sports schedules, and help with organizing transportation for each sport. Along with being the assistant athletic director, I am also the Head Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach. As a basketball coach, I create the team strategies, instruct players, provide mentorship and install a winning mentality. My goal is for my team to achieve a high level of skill as well as an understanding of sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork. Along with coaching and working at the school, I have also been officiating the game of basketball since I was 16. I am currently a certified FHSAA Basketball Official. I am currently a student at Florida International University where I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Recreation and Sports Management. I hope to one day in the future either be an Administrator at a top school in Miami or be an Athletic Director at the collegiate level!
