About Lisbeth Mathebula

As an MMC Quality Assurance Program Manager at Department of Health South Africa, I collaborate with stakeholders and provincial departments to enhance coordination and alignment of HIV/AIDS programs. I direct, train and mentor staff to ensure compliance with program’s quality standards and guidelines. I also provide guidance and support to the MMC program, ensuring safe and quality implementation of MMC services according to WHO, PEPFAR and NDOH guidelines. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences from University of Pretoria, where I also worked as a Field Researcher and a Clinical Associate. I have extensive experience in conducting clinical audits, data collection and analysis, developing and implementing clinical practice guidelines and SOPs, and providing NCD training. I have contributed to the development and roll out of COSUP, a community-oriented substance use program that provides harm reduction and treatment services to people who use drugs. I have also contributed conducted research and publications on COSUP and COPC, a community-oriented primary care approach that integrates health and social services at the community level. I have excellent skills in communication, facilitation, presentation, interpersonal relations, financial management and computer literacy.
