About Lise Bitsch

Hvad er problemet egentlig? For hvem er noget en god løsning, og kan vi gøre det bedre sammen? Hvordan kan vi samarbejde og styrke vores demokrati, så det bliver bedre for flere? Det er de spørgsmål der optager mig, og som jeg har arbejdet med gennem forskning, i non-profit regi med store EU-projekter og mindre indsatser, rapporter, tværfaglige og borgerinddragende forløb, og gennem frivillighed med særligt fokus på teknologi og digitalisering. What is at stake? For whom is something a good solution, and could we do better together? How can we collaborate and listen better to each other, so we may strengthen our democracies and build better societies for more people? I have worked on these types of questions through research and public engagement projects in many different settings and topics over the years. For example managing an international research team on responsible research and innovation in the Human Brain Project and leading the team on public engagement with ethical and societal issues in neuroscience. I am dedicated to the democratisation of science and technology and to including a diversity of voices in science development and decision-making. Currently I use this energy to establish a volunteer association on citizen voices in the digitalisation of society (Digital Stemme), and to support the establishment of a multidiscplinary initiative for ageing research at the University of Copenhagen.
