Background
About Lissa Thiele
At the Office of Diversion and Reentry and Santa Clara County Office of Education, my role is anchored in advocacy, where the essence of my work lies in empowering justice-engaged families through education. With a steadfast commitment to breaking cycles of recidivism, our team leverages life skills coaching and academic advising to craft pathways toward personal growth and societal reintegration for our clients. My expertise in juvenile justice reform is demonstrated through compassionate strategies that address the educational needs of at-risk youth and adults. The goal is to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline and affirm that every individual deserves the opportunity for a renewed life narrative, facilitated by the Resiliency Frameworks that I advocate and implement.
