Welcome to my professional profile! With a diverse background spanning roles in retail, banking, and business ownership/management, I’ve gained a wealth of experience over the years. However, my true sense of purpose emerged in 2012 when I made the decision to return to school, ultimately becoming a registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) in 2014. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to this field, finding profound fulfillment in the connections I make and the ongoing personal and professional growth I experience. My current areas of interest are centered around anti-racism and decolonization, with a firm belief that collaborative efforts can lead to the eradication of oppression. In line with my commitment to social justice, I co-founded the Facebook group “Investing in Anti-Racism,” which now boasts over 5,400 members. This platform serves as a space for education, awareness, and continuous learning, enriching my journey and expanding my understanding of these crucial topics. I am passionate about activism, inclusion, and education, and actively seek out opportunities that promote awareness and drive meaningful change. I am always eager to explore new collaborative ventures, though I am currently employed full-time and not seeking new positions.
