My area of specialization is in Occupational Ergonomics, this is what I teach together with other OHS-related courses. In my classroom, I encourage curiosity, integrate inquiry-based teaching approach, and promote a positive and jovial learning environment. My pedagogy is subsumed under this philosophy. Outside the classroom, I devote myself mentoring and promoting undergraduate research among our safety students. Most recently, we are investigating the health and safety effects of whole-body vibration in industry workers and the biomechanics of paramedics and baristas.
