I've spent the last few years deep in the reality of implementing Application Control across enterprise and government environments. One thing became very clear: WDAC is powerful, but operationally hard.I've led and supported large-scale security transformations — Essential Eight uplift programs, migrations to Microsoft Defender, and Application Control rollouts using Airlock Digital, Carbon Black, and WDAC. Hands-on with WDAC in both audit and enforced modes. Dealing with policy complexity, telemetry gaps, deployment friction, and the constant tension between security and usability.What I kept seeing across every engagement was the same pattern — teams drowning in raw rules, unable to evolve policies safely, spending more time managing XML than managing risk.That's why I built WDACManager.WDACManager is built around a simple idea: teams should manage applications, not rules.
