About Liya Kachanova

What drives me the most is the idea of creating something big, impactful, and transformative, as well as building systems, strategizing and optimizing business processes. With my customer-facing experience at the intersection of business development, marketing, and product, I help launch and scale impactful products and ventures, acquire and retain customers, build business strategy, develop and execute product & marketing growth strategies. A few pivotal moments along the way include: Designing 2 MVPs in health and wellness from scratch, Launching 3 EdTech products with cross-functional teams and growing revenue 3x, Co-founding a gamified MarTech solution for customer retention and loyalty for beauty and wellness businesses (a B2B platform and a B2C app) by leading user & market research, product design, and go-to-market strategy. Growth, constant improvement, holistic approach, personalization, research, and strategy are at my core. I am a lifetime learner with a natural curiosity about how things work, an ISTP personality type, and my (outside-of-work) interests are traveling, self-development, psychology, neuroscience, holistic health and fitness, sports, and nutrition. Previously, I dedicated 11 years to professional sports (artistic gymnastics, ballet, and dancing), which shaped me into an ambitious, driven person who strives for top results and leads her team to winning. Having moved to Germany by myself at the age of 18 and lived in 4 countries, I have developed resilience & adaptability in new ambiguous environments, a global mindset, intercultural competence, and an international perspective on customer behavior. I enjoy using this set of skills and attitudes when bringing technology and customers together to launch and scale impactful products and businesses.
