About Liz Dennett

I grew up in a small town in Alaska, where the landscapes were wild and the questions were big. That sense of curiosity and a refusal to believe things are “too hard” has guided me ever since. Today, I’m the Founder and CEO of Endolith, where we’re unlocking a better way to mine using biology. Our team combines deep science with pragmatic execution to recover copper more efficiently, cleanly, and sustainably. It's biotech built for the rocks, not just the lab. Before this, I served as CTO at Cemvita and held leadership roles across AWS, Wood Mackenzie, and Biota Technology. Whether I was scaling subsurface genomics, building open-source data infrastructure, or reshaping how industry uses microbes, one thing stayed constant: I like solving hard problems that matter. Now, I’m focused on scaling Endolith’s platform and building a new kind of company: one that pairs technical rigor with commercial focus, and delivers real value from molecule to market.
