About Liz Eades

I work at the intersection of education, industry, and technology, with a particular focus on generative AI, learning design, and capability development. I design learning experiences that help people think well and perform effectively in a fast-changing digital environment.I’ve spent more than 20 years as a marketing, media, and management consultant and educator, working across higher education and industry partnerships. What I enjoy most is turning complex or emerging challenges into practical, engaging learning that makes sense in the real world — not just on paper.My work ranges from curriculum and assessment design through to professional development, research, and industry collaboration. I’m particularly interested in how we build critical thinking, judgement, and confidence in graduates and professionals, especially as digital tools become more embedded in everyday work.Alongside my teaching and leadership roles, I’m currently undertaking a PhD focused on how generative AI is changing the way students think and learn in business education. My research looks closely at cognitive offloading and critical thinking — not from a hype perspective, but from a practical, evidence-based standpoint that helps educators and institutions use AI well, without losing the thinking that matters.I care deeply about collaboration and shared problem-solving. I value working with people who want to do thoughtful, meaningful work, and I’m motivated by outcomes that benefit both organisations and the communities they serve.
