About Liz Moran

I am an experienced healthcare professional with over 25 years of management experience in the private healthcare, care home industry. Progressing from Registered Nurse to General Manager and then onto Regional Director through to Senior Operations Director and Managing Director roles, I have held responsibility for 2800 beds in 45 Registered Care Homes across an extensive geography. I am also experienced in the area of Domiciliary Care Services with associated retirement property sales. I have been responsible for a budget of £127M turnover which included new build commissioning, dementia care, mental healthcare and specialist services. I have been accountable for highly regulated services across an age range from 7ys onwards. I have worked closely with commissioners to optimize services and work to plan and ensure delivery of improvement programmes to ensure compliance in challenged services. I have strength in motivating and inspiring to build cohesive teams and embedding a culture of genuine care. I am excited by change management to enhance the lives of people living in and working in care settings. I have held the responsible individual responsibility for CSSIW for HC-One and Ofsted for Horizon Care and Education Group. I never underestimate the power of building external relationships to influence the landscape of health and social care for the future.
