About Liz Olson
I am a Robotics PhD candidate at the University of Michigan, and will be graduating Winter 2024. Following this, I am looking for research positions in both academia and industry. I am interested in improving the robustness of vision-based autonomous systems. My focus has been in modeling disbelief and ambiguity within probabilistic frameworks, so the future of robotics is more reliable and interpretable. I am also interested in how we can use synthetic and unsupervised data to make learned perception systems more generalizable. I have experience with both in-home and field robotics domains.
