About Liz Stabb

I found my passion at 16 years old. It was when I started volunteering at the Wisconsin Humane Society. I learned how to care for dogs and was able to spend time with them just to make their day a little better. But once I figured out that being a professional dog petter wasn't a real job I found a new passion. Numbers. I have always enjoyed solving problems in math class and caught on quickly when learning new problem-solving strategies. I started taking accounting in high school and it just made sense. Being able to balance numbers and making sure that everything is equal is something I enjoy. Working my first job at Marcus Theatres, I learned how to communicate with customers and how to get customers the best deals on food. The little things like saving customers a few dollars has helped me strengthen my passion for numbers. Also working as a cashier at Goodwill Industries has taught me how to communicate with customers in an efficient way rather it involved the price of an item or communicating to them about Goodwill’s reward program. Numbers will always be important in my life which is why I chose to major in accounting.
