About Liz Swiger

As Commercial Operations Director for one of Florida's top solar companies, I manage all commercial, industrial, and utility solar installations, operations and maintenance management of solar installations and utility assets. This includes purchasing and contract negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors, and directing the engineering and installation processes for each commercial project. Most recently I co-authored curriculum for the Florida Soar Apprenticeship program run by FSEC, and also for St Pete College. I also am a Subject Matter Expert at NCCER, assisting with the updates for the Solar Installers training program that was just released in May of 2024, and us available on Pearson. The program is offered in over trade schools across America. At Solar Source we foster a cooperative work environment and collaborate with our clients and the AHJs to continually move projects forward regardless of the challenges that occur.
