About Liza Adsett

As a Residence Life Assistant at Solent University, I support the well-being and safety of over students living in the university accommodation. I organize and host various events, such as quizzes, day trips, and film nights, to help them settle into university life and foster a sense of community. Student welfare is at the forefront of my role and I organise a welfare tracker to monitor students who need support as well as handling any safeguarding concerns that may arise. I also handle various administrative and operational tasks, such as sorting post, processing fire alarms, liaising with emergency services, and conducting mitigation meetings.I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Music Management from Southampton Solent University in 2019, where I gained experience in artist liaison, marketing, branding, podcasts, contracts, live events, and PR. I have also worked as a Repair & Support Expert at Currys plc and a Contact Center Agent at Dixons Carphone, where I developed strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about music and sport, and I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
