Profile: I am a dedicated health professional with extensive experience in the public sector, driven by a strong commitment to improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations. With a particular focus on mobile medical service delivery, I specialise in facilitating access to oral health care for individuals facing significant barriers, including transport limitations, cognitive decline, and geographic isolation. This includes providing mobile dentistry to residents of aged care facilities and children in remote communities, by delivering care in familiar, supportive environments. Currently, I contribute clinical expertise, public health knowledge, project management, and leadership to Oral Health Services within Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS), aligning all initiatives with the organisation’s strategic objectives. I support and lead my team by setting clear direction, modelling professional behaviours, and fostering a collaborative culture to ensure the successful implementation of health service priorities and sustainable service improvement. Skills and Abilities: I am committed to continuous improvement in service delivery and consistently seek opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance patient outcomes. Drawing on Lean methodology and skills acquired through my Graduate Certificate in Clinical Redesign, I approach challenges with a systems-thinking mindset and an evidence-based focus on efficiency and sustainability. My PhD has further refined my capabilities in critical thinking, data analysis, research translation, and high-level problem-solving skills that add significant value to service planning, evaluation, and innovation. I am confident in designing and implementing quality improvement initiatives and effectively managing change within multidisciplinary teams.
