As the Senior Director of Business Development at Verus Title, a subsidiary of Fathom Holdings Inc, I bring nearly 31 years of experience in the real estate and insurance industries. My career began in 1994 at my family's real estate firm, where I developed a deep understanding of the industry from the ground up. In 1997, I obtained my North Carolina Real Estate license. However, I soon discovered a passion for other facets of the industry, leading me to work with a local closing attorney as a title agent. This experience provided valuable insights into the intricacies of property transactions and title processes. Seeking to broaden my expertise, I transitioned into the insurance sector. In 2006, I became a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance agent in North Carolina. Over the years, I expanded my credentials by obtaining licenses in Virginia, South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. This multi-state licensure has allowed me to serve a diverse clientele and understand the varying regulations and needs across these regions. Throughout my career, I've found that building and nurturing relationships is my true calling. I firmly believe that success in business development stems from genuine connections and understanding clients' needs. I often say I'm in the 'People Business' because, at its core, our industry revolves around trust and relationships. My journey has been rich and varied, equipping me with a unique perspective that blends real estate and insurance expertise.
