About Lizbeth Botello

I want to make history and be the first in my family to graduate college, and at that become an emergency room physician or a combined specialty with pediatrics. I am relentless and passionate. I will pour that into all I do, whether that be towards my career or a short-term opportunity, like an internship. As a Behavior & Health major, and on the pre-medical track, I want to strengthen my experience in healthcare through clinical, research, and volunteer work. Part of my ambitious aspirations are due to the fallacies in public health that exist due to the misconceptions of race. All medical professionals are intelligent, but many don't have what I do: empathy. Through the enrichment of experience and employment, I want to become as knowledgeable as possible to be the best doctor I can be to save lives despite race, sexuality, or socioeconomic status.
