About Lloyd Coton

As a graduate in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management, I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to the construction industry. I joined Rider Levett Bucknall as an Assistant Cost Manager in June 2023, after completing a summer internship with them in 2022. I have developed core competencies in communication, cost management, and contract management, which enable me to deliver high-quality services to clients across a range of project scales and sectors.In my current role, I work with a team of experienced cost managers to provide benchmarking, cost plans, and Pre-to-Post contract delivery for various projects, such as residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. I use internal BIM software to create and analyze digital models of the projects, and to generate accurate and transparent cost estimates and reports. I also communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met and that any issues or risks are identified and resolved. I enjoy working with RLB, as they value innovation, collaboration, and diversity, and support my professional growth and development.
