About Lloyd Hesketh

Engineering Manager with over a decade of experience in full-stack development, specialising in cloud-native architectures across AWS and Azure. My journey from mid-level developer through senior and tech lead roles has given me a deep appreciation for both technical excellence and people development. Currently, I focus on building high-performing engineering teams by leveraging DORA metrics to drive continuous improvement. I believe in creating an environment where innovation thrives through data-driven decision making, psychological safety, and sustainable engineering practices. My technical foundation in full-stack development, combined with my passion for leadership, enables me to bridge the gap between strategic objectives and technical execution. I mentor teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions while fostering a culture where creativity and calculated risk-taking are encouraged.
