About Lode Melis

Ever since my PhD research in immunology, effective scientific communication has become one of my core areas of expertise. In the biopharmaceutical industry, I believe I can fully leverage my ability to transform complex medical concepts into concise, clear and emotionally relatable messages. My business appetite grew exponentially when I received the opportunity to shadow the Head of EU for a couple of months, a true turning point in my career which eventually inspired me to pursue an MBA degree. People know me as a highly curious team player with high quality standards. I am at my best when I can be close to where the action is; in an environment which allows me to drive and decide with the patients’ needs in mind. Humble and conscious leadership principles guide me and I am committed to fostering a caring, learning and above all inclusive culture transcending reporting lines.
