About Loes van Eijk

After my studies Media and Information Management I started working in the field of marketing and communication. First at a publishing company and later on at Streetwise. Streetwise is an international company that takes care of the fundraising for non-profit organizations and specializes in face to face fundraising. At Streetwise I focused on marketing & communications, business development, starting-up international subsidiaries; the development of fundraising methods. In 2012 I started working for the Dutch Libraries. First in communications and currently I am specialized in knowledge management at the National Library of the Netherlands. I focus on stimulating and facilitating knowledge development and knowledge sharing by Dutch library organization nationally and internationally. I have broad experience in communications, project management, knowledge management. Specialties: I am able to connect people and take them into change and growth processes. My strengths lie in creating clear, long term visions and the translation into viable development steps. I have a great passion for libraries, the creative industry and social development.
