About Logan Brown

My name is Logan Brown and I am studying Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Iowa. I want to specialize in Cyber Security. I have extensive experience writing computer programs in C++, Visual Basic, C# and Python. My wide variety of known languages allows me to be very versatile in the projects I work on. I currently intern at Siemens PLM in Coralville, Iowa. I work as a development intern for the company and have worked on two projects. The first was a project in Visual Basic where I automated Microsoft Excel to display data of work parts in various models. The second was a project to integrate native C++ code to be used by a managed C# interface. I also previously had a research position at the Center for Computer Aided Design through the University of Iowa. I worked on user interaction in a Virtual Reality Environment. The project I worked on at CCAD allowed users to interact with a life-size model and accurately predict posture based on the user's movement of the model.Through my experience I have learned the values of hard work, teamwork and efficiency to accomplish goals set before me. Contact me if you want a motivated developer to solve your software problems.
