About Logan Chan

I jumpstarted my career in e-commerce where I spent 6 years creating D2C features in the native app & responsive web experiences on Zappos.com. I've worked in cross-functional product teams leveraging Design Thinking to impact products across omnichannel experiences. During my sixth year I spearheaded the design for improving the product page where the team successfully increased overall sales significantly. Having spent my whole life dedicated to sports, I switched to the fitness industry where a bit more of passions reside. Over the last 2 years, I worked closely with executive leaders to bring storytelling to the member post-workout experience through heart rate data visualization. I spent some time writing user test scripts, moderating usability tests, facilitating Design Sprints, bridging the gap between Machine Learning and UX, & mentoring other designers. My favorite parts of the process include conceptualizing new ideas, prototyping them out, & learning through testing. I'm a task-oriented introvert (INFJ on the Myers-Briggs), but value getting to know my teammates on a deeper level to make the work we do together more enjoyable. While I'm not at my computer I enjoy spending time with friends & family, being active & trying new things, or scouring the MLS for a new property. I'm especially interested in work that contributes to bettering humans, animals, & the Earth through sustainable practices and/or conserving the integrity of indigenous cultures.
