About Logan Lillehaug

My name is Logan and I am a senior at the University of St. Thomas. I am majoring in finance and minoring in economics, and have a strong interest in the areas of equity research, portfolio management, and investment analysis. I am a results driven student with good time management, communication, and critical thinking skills. I excel in both working individually and on teams, and am always eager for new opportunities to work with different skillsets. This summer I worked as a financial consulting intern at RSM in their headquarters in Chicago. I operated pas part of their credit review team where our task was to complete a full review of our clients (banks) loan portfolio's in order to make improvement recommendations on their lending process along with providing a full report based on our assessment of the risk associated with their outstanding loans. Additionally, I currently serve as the Financial Services Sector analyst for the Aristotle Fund at St. Thomas. The Aristotle Fund is a completely student run fund that manages roughly $9 million. As a manager I am responsible for covering the financial sector which includes providing weekly updates on our holdings in the sector along with pitching new investment opportunities. I recently pitched Western Alliance Bancorporation, a stock that we hold at approximate 5% weight in our portfolio. In addition to my coverage of this sector I am part of the group within the fund that provides economic reports in order to guide overall fund strategy and other analysts decisions.
