About Logan Murphy

In 2014 I received my B.A. in Pastoral Ministry at Lee University in my hometown of Cleveland, TN. I met my wife at Lee, and we were married in August 2014, just two weeks before moving to the Chicagoland suburbs to start my M.Div program at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. During seminary, we had the privilege of attending and working for The Orchard Evangelical Free Church for several years where I received additional gospel-centered ministry training through The Orchard Network. In 2018, I started my first full time pastoral job and graduated from TEDS with honors. I am grateful for our local church - The Evangelical Free Church in Mt Morris, IL - and more importantly for the grace of God that I have received in Christ Jesus and am reminded of every day. It’s a great privilege to minister vocationally to the body and bride of Christ, and I don’t take that lightly. Fun fact: I also really love good food and great coffee. When I’m not leading worship or working with our youth at church, you can likely find me roasting or drinking coffee. As the small sign in my office says: “no coffee, no workee”.
