Background

About Logan Shimmer

At Sense, my primary focus has been on enhancing the efficiency and strategic value of partnerships. Through a comprehensive overhaul of contract procedures, our team has achieved significant cost savings, which directly contributed to improved project margins. With a penchant for strategic negotiation, I have authored complex partnership contracts, safeguarding our engineering team's interests and ensuring mutual benefits. My role demands a high level of autonomy and accountability, which I've embraced, consistently delivering results without the need for direct managerial supervision. Beyond the immediate scope of my position, I advocate for safer streets for cyclists and pedestrians, highlighting my commitment to community and sustainable practices. My skill set is rounded out with experience in building a community of cyclists advocating for public policy changes around active transportation.
