About Logan Taylor

Logan Taylor graduated Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology while working an IT support analyst role. Immediately upon graduating, he began training as an Officer Candidate in the United States Marine Corps, successfully meeting all requirements and accepting a commission from POTUS as an Officer of Marines.Logan then went on to complete the Basic Officer Course at the Basic School, where he learned the skills required to be a basic rifle platoon commander and was assigned the military occupational specialty of Communications Officer. He then proceeded to complete the Basic Communications Officer Course, after which he was honorably separated from active duty and placed within the reserve component.While studying as a Comm-O, Logan became inspired to pursue a career in the cybersecurity/ethical hacking profession. Shortly after graduating, he earned the CompTIA Security+ certification and the EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification. Since then, Logan has continued to search for a position that will allow him to kickstart and develop a career within cybersecurity while also allowing him to remain in a position where he can serve his home community and manage his responsibilities as a Communications Officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserves (USMC-R). He is enthusiastic about expanding his knowledge further, networking with other professionals, and making a real and meaningful impact on everyone and everything who joins him in the process.
