Over 30 years of construction project experience from basic design, Pre contract, detail design, execution, construction, commissioning, start up, operation to dispute resolution. In home office, at site. In Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America. With an engineer background, I started my career in process engineering in Rome, and then in Paris, transitioning from Junior to Principal Engineer while working for various business and project phases (Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design) with client training, commissioning & start up experiences at site (France, South Korea and Iran). After 10 years of process, I spent 14 years in estimating and project control, first in Paris and then in London, transitioning from lead to management positions, and specialising in multi billions $ estimates in the worldwide Gas, LNG, FLNG and Upstream businesses. I managed a team of experts and a portfolio of various types of tenders or projects. I developed quality and competitive bids (+12 B$ of successful bidding) Since 2018, as Director Construction Solutions for FTI Consulting - Quantum & CAPEX Expert, based on 24 years of hands on experience in the E&C industry, I provide expertise, advice and support to lawyers, contractors, subcontractors and lenders in EMEA, I also work with our Economic practice to provide expert services, in the field of LNG & Gas to industrial players, governmental entity or investment funds (investments in LNG import terminal, LNG carriers fleet). Geographies (office, site or mission): Middle East (Iran, Qatar, UAE, Yemen, Kuwait, Israëll), Europe (France, UK, Italy, NL), USA, Asia (South Korea, Japan), Africa (Algeria, Morocco). JV environment work experience with key E&C players (Technip, JGC, Chiyoda, KBR, Saipem, DSME, CB & I) for international clients (Total, Statoil, Shell, BP, Chevron, ExxonMobil, ENI, Repsol – Talisman, CNOOC - Nexen, Anadarko, Gazprom, Novatek, Rosneft, Petronas, Sonatrach, ADCO, GASCO, QatarGas, NIOC, Air Liquide, National Grid). Expertise : Quantum assessment, Quantum Expert, Construction Contract Dispute resolution, Upstream, Gas and LNG, EPFC estimates and tenders (all AACE classes), Open Book Estimates. Finance skills: Cash flow, payment conditions, project & cost controlling. Management skills: functional management, recruitment, direct management and development of multi-cultural teams (10+ people, 6 nationalities), reduction in overheads.
