About Lokesh Jain

As the General Manager of Corporate Accounting and Controlling at Tata Motors, I lead the financial reporting and consolidation of around 100 group companies across the globe. With 19 years of experience in finance and accounting, I hold the credentials of Chartered Accountant (All India Rank Holder) and Cost Accountant, and I have extensive knowledge and expertise in Ind AS and IFRS, the accounting standards that govern the financial reporting of Tata Motors and its group companies. In my current role, I also oversee the automation of accounting, reporting, and controlling processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. I work closely with the business and shared service teams, and review the performance of group companies. In my previous role at ACC Limited, I handled various roles in business planning, financial planning and analysis, accounting and controlling, and compliance. I prepared the integrated annual report that won multiple awards for financial reporting excellence from ICAI. My mission is to drive excellence in financial reporting and governance, and to contribute to the growth and sustainability of Tata Motors and its stakeholders.
