About Lola Mull

Currently pursuing a Master's in Engineering Management to deepen my expertise in data-driven decision making, project management, and the research and implementation of sustainable solutions. I recently graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Mathematical Sciences. Prior to that, I spent three years at Northwestern University progressing toward a Bachelor of Manufacturing and Design Engineering, where my undergraduate experience was entirely centered on sustainable design and development. While at Northwestern, I also completed the requirements for the ISEN Certificate in Energy and Sustainability. My passion for sustainability is rooted in a lifelong connection to nature, growing up open-water swimming and spending countless hours outdoors instilled in me a deep respect for the environment and a drive to protect it through thoughtful design and innovation. I have always been an aquatic athlete, competing in both swimming and water polo. I was a Division I NCAA athlete at Northwestern University during my three years there, retiring in August 2023. During my time on the team, I set three individual school records and one relay record, with two All-American and one honorable mention All-American finishes at the NCAA competition. That experience shaped me profoundly, and is a large part of my identity, teaching me resilience, teamwork, and leadership.
