About Lon Elliott

I run client engagement for an AWS managed services provider focused on life sciences, biotech, and healthcare. My team of Service Delivery Managers and we support roughly 80 client accounts across CloudOps, DevOps, FinOps, and SecOps. I'm the person clients call when something needs to get done, escalated, or explained in plain English.Over the past two and a half years I've built up a track record I'm proud of: 98 client satisfaction responses, 98% positive, zero negatives, ranked #1 out of 49 tracked resources in both volume and client coverage. I helped to grow our managed portfolio from 24 accounts to over 80, helped to build the onboarding process for new CloudOps clients and a redesigned AWS Well-Architected Review delivery process. Before this I spent 12 years at Amazon in program management, supply chain, and infrastructure delivery. I coordinated 30+ AWS service teams through Prime Day and Cyber Monday execution, built automation runbooks that cut event support staffing by 85%, and delivered 60+ IT infrastructure projects across Amazon Retail, Robotics, and Prime Now.I started my career as an Electronics Technician on submarines in the U.S. Navy. That's where I learned that attention to detail isn't optional and that clear communication in high-stakes environments is the difference between things working and things going very wrong.AWS Solutions Architect Associate. AWS Cloud Practitioner.
