Provide maintenance for the client computer environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions. • Logs internal client calls for assistance and proposes solutions or directs their calls to those within the department who are responsible for resolving the issue. • Monitors request backlog and follows-up on staff/department assignments to verify action is being taken/planned and that the client is being kept informed of the progress. • Requests training as appropriate in meeting the requirements of the position. • Assists writing Help Desk documentation for the staff and offers assistance to other Help Desk coordinators. • Advises management of status of projects as required. • Coordinates projects when needed. • Is able to perform job with minimal assistance. • Assists Programmer/Analysts with identifying the source of an application problems. • Conducts group meetings and presentations within MIS as required. • Fulfills management reporting requirements as may be requested.
