If there's one thing I learned in engineering while taking the Bachelor's degree and Master's degree at Western University, it's that everything you learn takes a lot of practice and time. Everyone starts somewhere! As a full time software engineer working, I am able to manage my time to meet deadlines and complete tasks in an efficient manner. I am an excellent learner and love to discover new technologies each day. I have jumped from learning Web Technologies from building my portfolio website to using coding with microcontrollers and then finally to deep learning using convolutional neural networks which is what I defended my thesis with. With my current experience, I have dipped my toes in Naval Defense systems which includes telecommunication on ships and worked with toolsets like Radar, AIS, WECDIS. On the side from all the hard work, I like to treat myself on camping trips, hikes, and seeing the outdoors and socialize with my colleagues and friends.
