about corporate strategy & business development, I am analytical and highly self-motivated with clear communication and stakeholder management skills.I have 12+ years of professional experience, as a civil servant and consultant in roles involving strategy and communications, media relations, policy marketing & advocacy, digital solutions, public finance, general management, monitoring & evaluation, merchandising analytics and evidence-based policy. With the Indian Government, I worked in the Union Ministries of Finance, Commerce & Industry, Textiles and NITI Aayog (erstwhile Planning Commission). In Protiviti, I am part of the Data & Digital practice with a special focus on the Indian (and Middle East) public sector.As a Director, Govt. of India, I led the Commercial Trade Intelligence division (Ministry of Commerce & Industry), informing India’s trade policy with big data; outreach and policy advocacy with Export Promotion Councils (EPCs), Chambers of Commerce, Consulting Firms and academic/policy bodies. I interacted with the Commodity Boards, EPCs, and brought buy-in on export promotion schemes and capacity-building activities through active coordination with the Commercial Attaches of the Indian Embassies /Consulates/High Commissions overseas. I coordinated with trade development authorities/ export promotion councils and chambers of commerce, EXIM Bank, Consulting Firms and Academic Institutions.In the Ministry of Finance (DIPAM), I furnished inputs for the Central Government’s annual disinvestment strategy. In the Ministry of Textiles, I oversaw government procurement operations (turnover INR 7500 crores) & managed stakeholders (banks, FCI etc.). I was the CEO of a PSU promoting jute diversified products. In NITI Aayog, I was into M&E of govt. schemes through the lens of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact & sustainability. In the Indian Ministry of Finance, DEA(North Block), my job roles involved giving policy inputs on a) issues involving the India-IMF relationship like Quota Formula Review, IMF Surveillance & b)Infrastructure Financing: Infra Debt Funds, Tax-Free Bonds. With the focus of most public policies shifting to matrix-like ROI and cost efficiencies, I picked up an MBA recently from ISB (Co'23) and made it to the coveted Dean's List.
