My previous experience includes clerical support tasks, including but not limited to: answering a high call volume, data entry, maintenance of referral documentation, referral tracking, obtaining prior authorization, and tracking referral outcomes. I also have great written and verbal communication skills, am familiar with filing, faxing, scanning documents, and writing letters to fit the needs of the department. Being bilingual in English and Spanish, I have worked with and helped a very diverse population throughout my professional career and am also a Certified Medical Interpreter. I have a demonstrated knowledge of the social and economic barriers of a diverse client population and the related impact this may have on one’s employability, self-sufficiency, and employment barriers. Dealing with sensitive medical information at my former places of employment, I am aware of the importance to deal tactfully and establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with other coworkers and clientele. I am a friendly person who is knowledgeable and works well under pressure.
