About Lora Colussi

Lora is a Principal within Aurecon’s Melbourne Office. She is experienced in a wide range of transport engineering areas from strategic network planning, transport infrastructure design, development of transport management strategies, TRANSYT modelling and Sidra Intersection modelling. Lora has experience working on key Melbourne infrastructure projects such as the Melbourne Metro Rail Project, where she is a senior member of the surface transport team advising MMRA, Regional Rail Revival, Caulfield to Rowville Light Rail, City Link Tulla widening, Westgate Tunnel Project successful bid team member and Melbourne Park Stage 2 and 3 Masterplan developments. Lora is also an active member of the Heavy Vehicle and Vulnerable Road User Working Group, comprised of state government authorities, contractors, the trucking industry, transport user groups and University. Lora sits on the Heavy Vehicle Route Selection Working Group, currently considering the compounding effects of multiple major projects on the transport network. In response, the group has developed a heavy vehicle route assessment process that scaffolds a stakeholder consultation process to identify and evaluate the risk of heavy vehicles on vulnerable road users.
