I started working for Corporate in 2012 supporting CUEPrint Editorial system, ATOL/Adtracker system & interfaces. I handle customer support tickets including external customers & troubleshoot issues. My IT background helps as I can also fix desktop & network issues. In 2021 I became a Senior Analyst. We brought Gatehouse on Gannett's production systems - 1.5 yr project. I was 1 of 3 people who set up products then trained users on CuePrint editorial system & some ad tracking - shadowing & supporting sites as they go live, while doing product setup for the next round of sites. I frequently also trained Gatehouse users on Microsoft products since they did not use them before. I test upgrades & patches, document bugs working with vendors to resolve working closely with tech team. I am always trying to better processes. I document anything & everything I do using OneNote or Word. I always communicate changes to users. 2018 - Production Publishing team is now part of the Gannett Technology Support Center & we have elevated privileges to make desktop changes. Primarily dealing with the print side of the business USAToday Network including ad processing issues, laying out of ads on pages, sending ads to editorial system, editorial design & output. We now support the Design Center programs Adtracker/ATOL supporting users, troubleshooting, add mappings for new products. Help Desk IT job: Wide variety of knowledge! I worked in Advertising & Finance before coming to IT Dept. I look at the big picture-that is unique for IT person. The more minds you can get together the less you will miss! I handle software upgrades. I have project management experience with many upgrades, assisted with building wide IP address change, classified web conversions while continuing my every day job supporting users. Handling multiple projects is my daily life. Work with networks, servers, backups, printers, PC & MAC support, trained on Microsoft programs, documentation. Quick learner - I was primary setting up classified Mactive system 2005. I decided how to set up system, mapping rates, product setup, classifications, PGL pagination, guided people who assisted me, set up online feeds, AdBaseE online ad placing & the list goes on. I taught myself pagination software & Crystal reports. Rochester was frequently a beta site so I had to learn things before other papers.
