Notable track record in establishing a cutting-edge "Greenfield" transmission production facility spanning 21,500 m2 in Ganzhou, China. Developed and implemented an innovative modular layout and material flow concept to accommodate future growth and diverse product variants in the Chinese market. Oversaw the entire process, from the initial pre-study phase encompassing floorspace requirements, machining, assembly, logistics, and office areas, to successfully ramping up to full production volume within a exceptionally short span of two years. Demonstrated distinctive leadership in the reconfiguration of GETRAG's production facility in Köping following the transition from predominantly transmission manufacturing to "all wheel drive" units. Utilized Lean Production philosophy to optimize layout and introduced a new production ordering system, resulting in a remarkable 70% reduction in non-value adding activities such as transportation, and a significant 30% decrease in throughput time.
