About Lore Steveninck
Lore Steveninck (°1995) is een fotograaf en kunst leraar uit Lokeren. Na haar studies aan LUCA School of Arts startte ze haar loopbaan als docent bij Academie Waasmunster. Hiervoor werkte ze als fotograaf voor Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER in Gent en Art Gallery De Wael 15 in Antwerpen. Haar freelance werk focust zich voornamelijk op portret, muziek, event en reportage fotografie. In 2022 maakte ze in het kader van haar master in beeldende kunsten aan LUCA School of Arts (Sint-Lucas Gent) een kortfilm "De kracht van kwetsbaarheid". Het project begon als een onderzoek naar het betrekken van anderen in haar artistieke praktijk, waar ze de mogelijkheden wou verkennen als fotograaf & filmmaker bij het inzetten van de camera als een collectief medium. Voor haar kan de beeldcamera een opening bieden tot verbinding.
