About Lore Thomson

My name is Lore and my goal in life is to lead the most creative existence I possibly can. I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Cornish College of the Arts from the Performance Production department, majoring in costume design. This is a technical theater degree that allowed me to learn all the different forms of working for producing theatrical productions. While my focus was in costuming, I learned how to design sets, stage manage, I dabbled in lighting design, and learned how to properly research a play and script. While in the costume shop, I honed my fine art skills for figure drawing, using different materials for designing pieces and costumes, sewing, budgeting for material, and have finished product ready for the stage! My various jobs may not have always leant to my creative sensibilities but I've always found a way to incorporate my skills. I worked for Lush Cosmetics for six years and was able to use my set design knowledge to work as an in-store visual merchandiser for my two shops. When I worked for Buddha Jewelry, I was able to make quality jewelry displays for various conferences that they company participated in. My goal is to lead the most creative life I can. People need art. The Earth without Art is just Eh.
