Background
About Loren Muwonge
As a Spelman College First Generation Scholar, I am an outgoing advocate with roots in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a Ugandan heritage. I am driven to create lasting change through the power of thoughtful discussion and action. Currently studying Portuguese, I am committed to building a global perspective as I work toward my goal of serving as a U.S. Senator or diplomat. I believe in harnessing the arts as a force for activism, using spoken word to elevate voices within systematically oppressed communities. With a focus on resilience, compassion, and advocacy, I am committed to fostering a positive impact on both local and international scales.
