A born and raised Southern California working professional, I have spent the past 15+ years garnering marketing/brand, public relations, customer service, event planning & project management experience across a variety of industries including lifestyle, outdoor/adventure, apparel/accessory, sustainability, travel, design, tech and more. Currently helping brands reach the most influential active outdoor & lifestyle consumers in the world via web, print, podcast, social, video, CTV, experiential events and more! Get your butts off the couch, and get OUTSIDE!Previously, I was the Brand Marketing Director for the industry leading men's & women's sustainable apparel brand Outerknown, founded by professional surfer Kelly Slater. At Outerknown sustainability is not just a marketing slogan;"We created Outerknown to smash the formula. To lift the lid on traditional supply chain and prove you can actually produce a great looking clothing in a sustainable way."- Kelly Slater.Previously I worked for tech start-up Entangled Media in Encinitas, California where I was able to blend my previous sports/lifestyle experience with the rapidly evolving tech scene. I chose to pivot industries in order to gain an essential ‘martech' skill set & refresh my understanding for the digital space. Prior to Entangled Media I managed Public Relations & Advertising for San Clemente based lifestyle & accessory brand Electric, most notably known for stylish sunglasses and snow goggles. I joined the Electric team at a pivotal time and era in the brand’s history. Over my 3+ years with the brand I assisted in the launch of a complete re-brand, introduction of debut product categories (watches, women's collection, snow helmets and sport performance line) and implemented the brand's revitalized digital advertising strategy.On a personal note, I happily swoon over my hometown of Ojai, California, listening to pedal steel guitar, a good toothpick, tequila, dancing, mental wellness, all things outdoor adventure (fishing, camping, hiking etc.),self growth sometimes through tequila, and simply learning and loving my way through this crazy thing we call life!
