About Lorenz Isler

I have diverse experience working 17 years in leading multinational companies at the intersection of CEO advisor on external affairs, public affairs, sustainability, strategy, communications, and consulting. I have also co-founded and managed a concept store. I am currently Global Manager for Stakeholder Engagement, ESG Advocacy and Transparency at INGKA Group (IKEA). I have been working at IKEA for more than 10 years, leading strategies and initiatives to achieve our sustainability goals, engage our stakeholders, and increase our transparency. In my current role, together with my team, we are responsible for shaping and implementing our global stakeholder engagement strategy, leading our global ESG advocacy strategy, advising our leaders on ESG-related issues, driving our transparency communication in collaboration with the communications department, and driving as well as creating our annual integrated reporting. I am also a member of the global Public Affairs & Advocacy Management Team and the Extended Group Communications Management Team. My drive is to positively contribution to society and the planet by finding and implementing innovative approaches and projects to the pressing challenges of our time. I am an expert in climate policy, sustainability, ESG, communication, and stakeholder engagement. I am always looking for new opportunities to drive impact, learn, network, and inspire. I am fluent in German, English, French, and Swedish and have a Master's degree in International Relations (Business Administration, Political Science, Law and Economics) from the University of St.Gallen (HSG).
