About Lorenz Lechner

The biggest challenge of my generation is minimizing the impact of our industrial activities on the environment. That's why I want to use the knowledge I have gained in the study of process engineering to increase efficiencies in energy-intensive industry. In addition to increasing efficiencies, new technologies such as carbon capture and storage/utilization will help us achieve our ambitious targets. In my current role as technical assistant to the management of Alpacem, I am very happy to be able to pursue this goal. Every day, I am confronted with an extremely diverse field that involves both economic aspects (Emission Trading System, EU Taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and technical aspects (technologies for minimizing CO2 emissions, such as carbonization, alternative fuels, alternative raw materials, carbon capture and storage/utilization). At Alpacem, we have already taken major steps towards efficient production and are pursuing our roadmap to CO2-neutrality with great enthusiasm. To achieve these goals, I bring analytical thinking and a great love of communication and teamwork. I welcome any form of exchange - together we can and will solve the greatest challenge of our time.
