About Lorenzo Riggi

First and foremost, I love problem solving. Since I was a kid I deeply enjoyed disassembling stuff and learning how all the little parts worked together. Growing up in the early brought me to be curious about software engineering and the internet, so I started to learn about HTML, CSS, PHP and all kinds of client/server tech. Then in high school, with the IoT revolution I started to get curious about electronics and bought a Raspberry Pi, this opened me a whole new world of opportunities. At the age of 16 I showed my mathematics teacher a self-driving toy car made of simple wood, electronics and a chassis taken from an old toy, she loved it so much that she would actively spark my interests and encourage me to participate to electronics contests and maker faires around Italy through my school days. I’ve done websites, an Amazon Locker before lockers where even a thing, wrote a patent by myself at 18, an eye tracker to help people with physical disabilities to control their homes and a note taking app. So yeah, I kind of embark on whatever project sparks my interest. I firmly believe in technology that improves our life.
