About Lorenzo Sequi

With over eight years of experience in the lighting industry, I currently work as an Academy & Training Expert at iGuzzini illuminazione, where I develop and deliver technical training and strategic content for our international sales teams. My work combines communication, product expertise, and stakeholder engagement, helping to bridge the gap between technical complexity and customer needs across diverse global markets. To date, I have created and delivered over 100 training sessions, both in-person and online. These experiences have improved my storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to adapt content for different cultural contexts and professional audiences. I have proudly represented iGuzzini at major industry events, including Light + Building (2024) and Milan Design Week (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023), where I supported product launches and acted as a brand spokesperson. These opportunities have strengthened my public speaking, event coordination, and client-facing skills, essential elements for impactful communication roles. Technically, I bring hands-on experience with video production and live webinar management, including the use of 4K cameras and OBS Studio. I frequently produce and coordinate digital training content, taking full ownership of both the technical setup and creative direction. My background in architecture combined with a postgraduate specialisation in marketing, gives me a well-rounded foundation that blends design thinking with commercial strategy. I collaborate closely with departments across the company, from R&D to sales, always with the goal of making complex concepts clear and engaging.
